| Estate Commission. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 1101.403, Occupations Code, is amended | ||
| by adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows: | ||
| (d-1) The commission shall ensure that any examination | ||
| required by this chapter or Chapter 1102, including an examination | ||
| administered by a testing service, is offered in Spanish on request | ||
| of an applicant. | ||
| SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only | ||
| to an examination under Chapter 1101 or 1102, Occupations Code, | ||
| that is administered on or after January 1, 2020. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | ||
