| relating to the abolition of the Alternative Fuels Research and | ||
| Education Division program administered by the Railroad Commission | ||
| of Texas. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter I, Chapter 113, Natural Resources | ||
| Code, is repealed. | ||
| SECTION 2. On the effective date of this Act: | ||
| (1) the alternative fuels research and education fund | ||
| is abolished; and | ||
| (2) any unobligated money remaining in the alternative | ||
| fuels research and education fund is transferred to the undedicated | ||
| portion of the general revenue fund. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
| a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
| provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
| Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
| Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
