relating to the regulation of solicitations of private security | ||
companies by political subdivisions. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 1702.134, Occupations Code, is amended | ||
by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: | ||
(a-1) Subsection (a) does not apply to a requirement imposed | ||
by a municipality, county, or other political subdivision relating | ||
to the time and manner of solicitations made within the | ||
municipality, county, or political subdivision by a license holder | ||
or employee of a license holder. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
