| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 42.152, Education Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (c-4) to read as follows: | ||
| (c-4) Notwithstanding Subsection (c), funds allocated under | ||
| this section may be used to fund a district's school guidance and | ||
| counseling program under Subchapter A, Chapter 33. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. | ||
