A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to the location of certain temporary branch early voting
  polling places.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 85.062, Election Code, is amended by
  adding Subsection (c-1) to read as follows:
         (c-1)  In a county with a population of 400,000 or more, the
  location of a movable polling place established under this section
  shall be fixed at one place when the polling place opens for the day
  and may be relocated only after a full day of early voting has
  concluded.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
  a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
  provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.  If this
  Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
  Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
