| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 382, Health and Safety | ||
| Code, is amended by adding Section 382.069 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 382.069. PERMITS BY RULE FOR CREMATORIES. In | ||
| establishing requirements for a permit by rule, the commission must | ||
| use the same criteria and requirements for animal crematories that | ||
| are used for human crematories. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | ||
