A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to providing for legislative information on the Internet
in Spanish.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 323.0145(b), Government Code, is amended
to read as follows:
(b) The council[, to the extent it considers it to be
feasible and appropriate,] may make legislative information
available to the public through the Internet to the extent the
council considers it feasible and appropriate. The council shall
make legislative information made available under this subsection
available in English and Spanish.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect January 1, 2012.
