| Day. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 662, Government Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Section 662.091 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 662.091. HISPANIC REGISTERED DIETICIAN DAY. (a) | ||
| October 6 is Hispanic Registered Dietician Day to raise awareness | ||
| that less than six percent of registered dieticians in the United | ||
| States are Hispanic. | ||
| (b) Hispanic Registered Dietician Day shall be regularly | ||
| observed by appropriate ceremonies and activities. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
