| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 42.006, Education Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | ||
| (f) The commissioner shall develop a list of preferred | ||
| vendors that provide support to open-enrollment charter schools in | ||
| using the Public Education Information Management System. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
