A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the repeal of certain statutes allowing a county
attorney or commissioners court to accept gifts or grants to
finance or assist the operation of the office of county attorney.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The following provisions of the Government Code
are repealed:
(1) Section 45.104(b);
(2) Section 45.125;
(3) Section 45.145(b);
(4) Section 45.189(b);
(5) Section 45.194(b); and
(6) Section 45.243(b).
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
