| specialty license plates. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, | ||
| is amended by adding Section 504.319 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 504.319. COMBAT INFANTRYMAN BADGE RECIPIENTS. The | ||
| department shall issue specialty license plates for persons who | ||
| have received the U.S. Army Combat Infantryman Badge. The license | ||
| plates must include: | ||
| (1) the likeness of a Combat Infantryman Badge | ||
| authorized by the Department of the Army; and | ||
| (2) the words "Combat Infantryman Badge." | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
