| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Chapter 57, Occupations Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Section 57.003 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 57.003. FEES DEDICATED TO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS. A fee | ||
| collected from a license holder to fund a scholarship program may be | ||
| used only for the purpose of funding the scholarship program. | ||
| SECTION 2. Section 57.003, Occupations Code, as added by | ||
| this Act, applies only to a fee collected on or after the effective | ||
| date of this Act. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
