| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 62.014, Parks and Wildlife Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Subsection (i-1) to read as follows: | ||
| (i-1) An instructor who is not an employee of the department | ||
| shall charge an amount for the course that includes an | ||
| administrative fee set by the commission in an amount not to exceed | ||
| $15 that must be paid to the department and deposited to the credit | ||
| of the game, fish, and water safety account. | ||
| SECTION 2. Section 62.014(e), Parks and Wildlife Code, is | ||
| repealed. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
| a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
| provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
| Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
| Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
