A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to annual testing of certain child-care facility employees
  for tuberculosis.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Subchapter C, Chapter 42, Human Resources Code,
  is amended by adding Section 42.04306 to read as follows:
         Sec. 42.04306.  TUBERCULOSIS SCREENING FOR CHILD-CARE
  FACILITY EMPLOYEES. The department shall require each child-care
  facility employee who provides services to at least one child under
  four years of age to annually undergo a screening test for
  tuberculosis.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
