| relating to the duties of the district attorney for the 70th | ||
| Judicial District. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 43.137(d), Government Code, is repealed. | ||
| SECTION 2. The repeal by this Act of Section 43.137(d), | ||
| Government Code, applies only to a proceeding commenced on or after | ||
| the effective date of this Act. A proceeding commenced before the | ||
| effective date of this Act is governed by the law in effect on the | ||
| date the proceeding was commenced, and the former law is continued | ||
| in effect for that purpose. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
