A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to certain legislative deadlines.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Chapter 322, Government Code, is amended by
  adding new Section 322.025 to read as follows:
         Sec. 322.025  LEGISLATIVE PRIORITY DEADLINES.
  (a) On or
  before the 100th legislative day, the legislature shall send to the
  Governor:
               (1)  the General Appropriations Act;
               (2)  any legislation reauthorizing a state agency under
  review by the sunset advisory commission; or
               (3)  any legislation concerning public school finance
  that is respondent to a court order of invalidity or
  unconstitutionality.
         (b)  After the 100th legislative day, no legislation shall be
  considered by either chamber of the legislature until the
  legislation described by subsection (a) has been sent to the
  Governor.
