A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to fees imposed for the operation of amusement rides.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 2151.052(a), Occupations Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (a)  The commissioner shall establish reasonable and
  necessary fees[,] in amounts sufficient to generate the revenue
  necessary to cover the annual cost of administering this chapter.
  The [an] amount of a fee may not [to] exceed $40 per year[,] for any
  [each] amusement ride covered by this chapter.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
