No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC) to redact residential addresses from certain campaign finance filings. According to TEC, costs related to reprogramming the agency's Electronic Filing System could be absorbed with existing resources.
