The bill would amend the Property Code related to oil and gas liens and make conforming changes to the Business & Commerce Code.
Based on information provided by the Railroad Commission, the Comptroller of Public Accounts, and the General Land Office, no significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated as a result of implementing the provisions of the bill.
