No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Family Code to require the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to develop a request for information to assist in the development of a strategic plan to improve prevention and early intervention services and send the request for information to certain groups. The bill would also require DFPS to collaborate with other agencies to develop an inventory of programs and services and to facilitate opportunities to increase collaboration.
