IN RE: |
HB166 by González, Mary (Relating to the appointment of an educational representative for certain students with disabilities.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
The bill would require districts and charters to follow a process for determining if a student qualifies for the appointment of an educational representative and to appoint such person. In addition, schools would have to comply with notification procedures and ensure the appointment of educational representatives for certain adult students with disabilities and would need to provide information about this process to students of a certain age and their parents or legal guardians. However, no significant fiscal implication to schools is anticipated.
