A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 61-6-90 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A RETAIL DEALER MAY NOT SELL ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR THAT WAS MANUFACTURED OR PRODUCED IN RUSSIA.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 1, Chapter 6, Title 61 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

    "Section 61-6-90.    A retail dealer that sells alcoholic liquors may not sell any alcoholic liquor that was manufactured or produced in Russia. For purposes of this section, 'Russia' includes all agencies, institutions, instrumentalities, and political subdivisions of Russia."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
