A joint Resolution
TO REQUIRE THE GOVERNOR AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO FILE A NOTICE OF INTENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE for the SUMMER ELECTRONIC BENEFIT TRANSFER PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WIThIN FIVE DAYS AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS JOINT RESOLUTION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The Governor and Director of the Department of Social Services must file a Notice of Intent with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program for Children, which begins in 2024, within five days after the effective date of this joint resolution.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
