A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 11-9-150 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE STATE MAY NOT USE FUNDS TO ASSIST THE UNITED STATES REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 1, Chapter 9, Title 11 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 11-9-150.    No state funds may be used to assist the United States Refugee Resettlement program."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
