| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, further providing, in provisions |
3 | relating to the Governor and disaster emergencies, for |
4 | general authority of Governor. |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. Section 7301(f)(8) of Title 35 of the |
8 | Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended and the section is |
9 | amended by adding a subsection to read: |
10 | § 7301. General authority of Governor. |

12 | (f) Additional powers.--In addition to any other powers |
13 | conferred upon the Governor by law, the Governor may: |
14 | * * * |
15 | (8) Suspend or limit the sale, dispensing or |
16 | transportation of alcoholic beverages, [firearms,] explosives |
17 | and combustibles. |

1 | (g) Construction.--Nothing in this section shall be |
2 | construed to authorize the seizure, taking or confiscation of |
3 | lawfully possessed firearms or ammunition. |
4 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
