A RESOLUTION
Recognizing May 20, 2009, as "Health Insurance Help Day" in
Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, The Central Pennsylvania Association of Health
Underwriters will convene a "Health Insurance Help Day" on May
20, 2009, in order to provide opportunities for education and
discussion among the public and private health insurance
providers in this Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, There has not been a concerted effort heretofore to
bring these interests together in one venue; and
WHEREAS, In order to move forward with viable health care
insurance reform and make health care available to the uninsured
and underinsured populations of this Commonwealth, such a forum
as "Health Insurance Help Day" is a groundbreaking opportunity;
therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize May 20,
2009, as "Health Insurance Help Day" in Pennsylvania.
