AN ACT

Designating a bridge to be constructed on that portion of SR 222

over the Amtrak rail lines in the City of Lancaster,

3

Lancaster County, replacing the Lititz Pike Bridge, as the

4

Thaddeus Stevens Bridge.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

6

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Thaddeus Stevens Bridge.

(a)  Designation.--The bridge to be constructed on SR 222 in

9

the City of Lancaster, Lancaster County, over the Amtrak rail

10

lines, replacing the Lititz Pike Bridge, is hereby designated as

11

the Thaddeus Stevens Bridge.

12

(b)  Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and

13

maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to

14

traffic in both directions on the bridge.

Section 2.  Effective date.

This act shall take effect immediately in 60 days.
