| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Designating the bridge that crosses over the Frankstown Branch |
2 | of the Juniata River on State Route 2015, also known as |
3 | Yellow Springs Drive, in Catharine Township and Williamsburg |
4 | Borough, Blair County, as the Williamsburg Memorial Bridge. |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. Williamsburg Memorial Bridge. |
8 | (a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as |
9 | follows: |
10 | (1) The newly constructed two-lane bridge that crosses |
11 | over the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River on State |
12 | Route 2015, also known as Yellow Springs Drive, in Catharine |
13 | Township and Williamsburg Borough, Blair County, replaces a |
14 | single-lane bridge originally built in 1936. |
15 | (2) The citizens of Williamsburg Borough were asked by |
16 | the Williamsburg Borough Council to vote on a name for the |
17 | new bridge and chose the name "Williamsburg Memorial Bridge". |
18 | (b) Designation.--The bridge that crosses over the |
19 | Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River on State Route 2015, also |

1 | known as Yellow Springs Drive, in Catharine Township and |
2 | Williamsburg Borough, Blair County, is hereby designated the |
3 | Williamsburg Memorial Bridge. |
4 | (c) Signs.–-The Department of Transportation shall erect and |
5 | maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to |
6 | traffic in both directions on the bridge. |
7 | Section 2. Effective date. |
8 | This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
