AN ACT

Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

2

Statutes, providing for a person's status as a veteran to be

3

indicated on his or her driver's license or identification

4

card upon payment of an additional fee and presentation of

5

the person's Form DD-214.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

7

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 1510 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania

9

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

10

§ 1510.  Issuance and content of driver's license.

11

(k)  Veteran designation.--A capital "V" shall be exhibited

13

on the driver's license of a veteran upon the payment of an

14

additional $1 fee for the license and the presentation of a copy

15

of the person's Form DD-214, issued by the United States

16

Department of Defense.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
