AN ACT

Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania

2

Consolidated Statutes, making an appropriation to fund hazard

3

mitigation measures.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

6

Section 1.  Section 7305.1 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

8

§ 7305.1.  Grants for hazard mitigation.

(c)  Appropriation.--The budget surplus revenue is

11

appropriated from the General Fund to the Pennsylvania Emergency

12

Management Agency for the purpose of funding hazard mitigation

13

measures under subsection (a).

14

Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
