AN ACT

Designating the Uniontown to Brownsville link of State Route 43,

beginning with State Route 51 in Uniontown, Fayette County,

3

and ending at State Route 119 in Brownsville, Fayette County,

4

as the "POW/MIA/KIA Memorial Highway."

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

6

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  POW/MIA/KIA Memorial Highway.

(a)  Designation.--The Uniontown to Brownsville link of State

9

Route 43, beginning with State Route 51 in Uniontown, Fayette

10

County and ending at State Route 119 in Brownsville, Fayette

11

County, is hereby designated as the POW/MIA/KIA Memorial

12

Highway.

13

(b)  Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and

14

maintain appropriate signs at each end of the highway displaying

15

the name of the highway.

Section 2.  Effective date.

17

This act shall take effect in 60 days.
