| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Designating the Uniontown to Brownsville link of State Route 43, |
2 | beginning with State Route 51 in Uniontown, Fayette County, |
3 | and ending at State Route 119 in Brownsville, Fayette County, |
4 | as the "POW/MIA/KIA Memorial Highway." |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. POW/MIA/KIA Memorial Highway. |
8 | (a) Designation.--The Uniontown to Brownsville link of State |
9 | Route 43, beginning with State Route 51 in Uniontown, Fayette |
10 | County and ending at State Route 119 in Brownsville, Fayette |
11 | County, is hereby designated as the POW/MIA/KIA Memorial |
12 | Highway. |
13 | (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and |
14 | maintain appropriate signs at each end of the highway displaying |
15 | the name of the highway. |
16 | Section 2. Effective date. |
17 | This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
