AN ACT

Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, further providing for removal of vehicle by or at

3

direction of police.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

6

Section 1.  Section 3352 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

8

§ 3352.  Removal of vehicle by or at direction of police.

9

(e)  Notice to owner regarding removal of a legally parked

11

vehicle.--Upon the removal of a legally parked vehicle under

12

subsection (c)(2) bearing a registration plate, current

13

certificate of inspection or vehicle identification number

14

plate, the police officer or the police officer's designee shall

15

affix a sticker to the vehicle indicating the date, time and

16

purpose of removal, the new location and the entity responsible

17

for the removal.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
