1 | (b) Emergencies.--Whenever an emergency exists in this |
2 | Commonwealth due to a disaster, an act of God or work stoppage |
3 | and the number of persons in this Commonwealth holding licenses |
4 | granted by the department is insufficient to cope with the |

5 | shall determine. Each such license is valid for the period | <-- |
6 | specified in subsection (a) six months from the date of issuance | <-- |

8 | certified the individual as qualified. It shall be renewable as |
9 | long as the shortage of license holders shall continue. |
10 | (d) Continuing education.--The renewal of all licenses |
11 | granted under this section shall be conditioned upon the |

30 | section prior to the expiration of his license due to a |
|
1 | temporary disability may apply for a waiver from the department. |
2 | The waiver shall be on a form provided by the department, which |
3 | shall be signed under the penalty of perjury and accompanied by |
4 | a certified statement from a competent physician attesting to |
5 | the disability. Upon the termination of the temporary |
6 | disability, the licensee shall submit to the department a |
7 | certified statement from the same physician, if practicable, |
8 | attesting to the termination of the temporary disability. Upon |
9 | this termination, a waiver sticker which is valid for 90 days |
10 | shall be issued to the licensee and affixed to his license. |
11 | (g) Attendance records for continuing education courses.-- |
12 | Approved training providers shall keep uniform records, for a |
13 | period of ten years, of attendance of licensees following a |
14 | format approved by the department, and such records shall be |
15 | available for inspection by the department at its request. |
16 | Approved training providers shall be responsible for the |
17 | security of all attendance records and certificates of |
18 | completion, provided, however, that falsifying or knowingly |
19 | allowing another to falsify such attendance records or |
20 | certificates of completion shall constitute grounds for |
21 | suspension or revocation of the approval required under this |
22 | subsection. |

24 | inspector or mechanic license. | <-- |
