  Directs State Board of Tax Practitioners to establish education
and outreach program.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to the State Board of Tax Practitioners.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2011 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS 673.605 to 673.740. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + The State Board of Tax Practitioners shall
establish an education and outreach program to:
  (1) Communicate the value of the services provided by licensed
tax consultants and tax preparers to the public; and
  (2) Publicize the ways in which the public can benefit from
using licensed tax consultants and tax preparers. + }
