A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to wolves; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + ORS 496.171 to 496.182 and 498.026 do not limit
the authority of the State Fish and Wildlife Commission to adopt
rules that authorize the take, as defined in ORS 496.004, of
wolves to address the chronic depredation of livestock, as
defined in ORS 610.150, by wolves. + }
SECTION 2. { + This 2012 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2012 Act takes effect on its
passage. + }
