                             SUMMARY

The following summary is not prepared by the sponsors of the

  Requires that Public Employees Retirement Board prepare and
regularly update information relating to unfunded liabilities of
state, cities, counties, school districts and local service
districts and make information easily accessible on website for
Public Employees Retirement System.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to information on the Public Employees Retirement
  System.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2012 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS chapter 238. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + (1) The Public Employees Retirement Board shall
prepare and regularly update the following information and make
the information easily accessible on the website for the Public
Employees Retirement System:
  (a) The unfunded liability of the state, cities, counties,
school districts and local service districts, as defined in ORS
174.116;
  (b) The employer contribution rate for the state, cities,
counties, school districts and local service districts, as
defined in ORS 174.116;
  (c) A list of all cities, counties, school districts and local
service districts, as defined in ORS 174.116, that have agreed to
pay employee contributions under ORS 238.205 or 238A.335;
  (d) A list of all cities, counties, school districts and local
service districts, as defined in ORS 174.116, that have made a
lump sum payment to the system, and a list of the amounts in the
accounts established for those employers under ORS 238.229 by
reason of the payment; and
  (e) Such other information that is necessary or helpful in
determining the liability of the state, cities, counties, school
districts and local service districts, as defined in ORS 174.116.
  (2) The Oregon Department of Administrative Services shall
provide a prominent link on the Oregon transparency website to
the information posted on the website for the Public Employees
Retirement System pursuant to the requirements of this
section. + }
