AN ACT
Relating to Oregon Progress Board.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + (1) The Oregon Department of Administrative
Services may consult with the Oregon Progress Board regarding:
(a) A plan to integrate the Oregon benchmarks established in
ORS 284.622 with the legislative budgeting and policymaking
process, for review by the Legislative Assembly;
(b) A plan to merge or align the purpose, duties and powers of
the board with the purpose, duties and powers of the Committee on
Performance Excellence established in ORS 182.562, the
Transparency Oregon Advisory Commission created in ORS 184.486
and other boards, commissions, departments or agencies of the
state government; and
(c) Agencies or nongovernmental entities with which the board
may enter into agreements under ORS 284.633.
(2) The department shall submit a report of the conclusions and
recommendations made pursuant to subsection (1) of this section
to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly with
subject matter jurisdiction over the Oregon Progress Board and
Oregon benchmarks on or before July 2, 2012. + }
