Requires Oregon Health Authority to publish and update, at least once every five years, map of this state that identifies each location where Ixodes pacificus tick has been identified. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to Ixodes pacificus ticks. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. { + (1) The Oregon Health Authority shall publish and update, at least once every five years, a map of this state that identifies each location where an Ixodes pacificus tick has been identified. (2) For the purpose of publishing and updating the map described in subsection (1) of this section, the authority shall: (a) Publish and disseminate information describing the identifying factors of an Ixodes pacificus tick; (b) Publish and disseminate information notifying the public of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases; and (c) Prepare and make available for submission an Ixodes pacificus tick identification form by which a person may inform the authority of the location of an Ixodes pacificus tick. (3) The authority shall adopt rules necessary to implement this section. + } ----------
