                             SUMMARY

The following summary is not prepared by the sponsors of the

consideration by the Legislative Assembly. It is an editor's
brief statement of the essential features of the measure as
introduced.

  Requires Oregon Health Authority to study and report to
Legislative Assembly on duplicative reporting requirements
imposed by state on managed care organizations, coordinated care
organization and hospitals.

                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to reporting requirements imposed by state on health
  care providers.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + (1) The Oregon Health Authority shall study the
reporting requirements imposed on managed care organizations,
coordinated care organizations and hospitals, by rule or under
contracts entered into by the authority, to determine whether any
of the requirements duplicate other reporting requirements
imposed on these entities by the authority, the Department of
Human Services or any other state agency. The authority shall
report its findings to the Legislative Assembly in the manner
provided by ORS 192.245 no later than January 1, 2015.
  (2) The authority may contract with a private organization to
conduct the study and prepare a draft report in accordance with
this section. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + Section 1 of this 2013 Act is repealed January
2, 2015. + }
