Seventy-seventh Legislative Assembly on changes necessary to
implement federal law with respect to programs administered by
department for seniors and persons with disabilities.
Declares emergency, effective on passage.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to programs administered by the Department of Human
Services; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + The Department of Human Services shall review
the state statutes governing programs administered by the
department to serve seniors and persons with disabilities and
shall report to the Seventy-seventh Legislative Assembly any
changes to the statutes that are necessary to implement the
requirements and the state options available to states under
federal law. + }
SECTION 2. { + This 2011 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2011 Act takes effect on its
passage. + }
