A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Clintonville Academy robotics team as the 2012 FIRST Tech Challenge World runner-up.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Clintonville Academy robotics team on placing second at the 2012 FIRST Tech Challenge World Championships; and

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Clintonville Academy robotics team are remarkable young individuals, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students. With admirable dedication, members Jacob Miller, Joey Diamond, and Phil Sing designed, built, and programmed a robot to complete an assigned task, and in an alliance with two other teams, the Cougars placed first in the Franklin division and second overall at this year's FIRST Tech Challenge World Championships; and

       WHEREAS,  Through practice and preparation, the members of the Clintonville Academy robotics team have displayed determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and the squad's efforts are truly admirable. The enthusiasm and expertise that they have shown in all of their endeavors have earned them the respect and admiration of many; and

       WHEREAS,  The accomplishments of the Clintonville Academy robotics team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the members but also on their families, their coaches, Jamie Diamond and Judy Radin, their school, and their community. We are certain that the maturity and experience the students have gained through their participation in robotics competition will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Clintonville Academy robotics team on its success and salute its members and coaches as fine Ohioans; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Clintonville Academy robotics team.
