A RESOLUTION | Honoring Ryan Starcher on being named to the Music for All Bands of America Honor Band. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Ryan Starcher on being chosen to perform in the 124th annual Tournament of Roses Parade with the 2012 Music for All Bands of America Honor Band; and |
| WHEREAS, A junior at Tippecanoe High School, Ryan Starcher has striven to develop his special talents of expression, and through his superior performances as a trombonist, he has touched, inspired, and entertained countless listeners. He has striven for his full potential, and as a result, he was chosen to perform with this year's Music for All Bands of America Honor Band at the Tournament of Roses Parade. He is truly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Ryan Starcher has demonstrated exemplary initiative, enthusiasm, and perseverance in developing and sharing his musical ability. His record of accomplishment is a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on him but also on his family, his instructors, including director, Steve Parks, and his community, and we are certain that as he continues to pursue his musical interests, he will make invaluable contributions to the world around him; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, Ryan Starcher has honed and perfected his skills as an instrumentalist by devoting countless hours to practice and rehearsal. In the process, he has learned important lessons about poise, cooperation, and self-discipline that are sure to benefit him in all of his endeavors. He has set a commendable example for his peers, and his commitment is likely to impel many who know him to dedicate themselves similarly; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Ryan Starcher on his outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
