To enact section 5.2283 of the Revised Code to 1
designate April 27 as "Emma 'Grandma' Gatewood 2

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5.2283 of the Revised Code be enacted 4
to read as follows:5

       Sec. 5.2283. The twenty-seventh day of April is designated as 6
"Emma 'Grandma' Gatewood Day," in honor of the legendary hiker who 7
was a founder of the buckeye trail, which was declared the 8
official hiking trail of the state on that day in 1967.9
