A RESOLUTION

Honoring Griffin Harding as a 2014 USTA men's champion.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Griffin Harding on winning the men's sub-novice tumbling and men's beginner double mini-trampoline events at the 2014 United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association National Championships; and

       WHEREAS,  A remarkable individual, Griffin Harding has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently to attain ultimate proficiency in tumbling and trampoline, and as a result, he won first place overall in the men's sub-novice tumbling and men's beginner double mini-trampoline events at this year's United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association National Championships; and 

       WHEREAS,  Griffin Harding's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of athletic competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on him but also on his family, his coaches, and his community. His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of many, and he is certainly worthy of high praise; and

       WHEREAS,  With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to Griffin Harding on an exemplary performance. Indeed, the same maturity and experience that he has gained through his participation in sports will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Griffin Harding on his achievements and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Griffin Harding.
