A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Mineral Ridge High School History Club on being named one of the ten best history clubs in the nation.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Mineral Ridge High School History Club on being recognized as one of the ten best history clubs in the country by the National History Club; and

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Mineral Ridge High School History Club are, indeed, a remarkable group of young academicians, successfully combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students. With remarkable dedication, they have participated in local and national programs and created numerous projects and activities, and as a result, they were ranked one of the ten best history clubs in the country by the National History Club. Throughout long hours, the members have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud; and 

       WHEREAS,  Through their study of history, the members of the Mineral Ridge High School History Club have had the opportunity to develop and express their individual abilities and to acquire knowledge and information that will be of great benefit to them throughout their lives. To their credit, their genuine passion for learning has set a fine example for their peers; and

       WHEREAS,  The success of the Mineral Ridge High School History Club is a fitting tribute to the excellent leadership provided by its advisor, who has given tirelessly of his time, energy, and expertise to guide the members. The club's achievements are a justifiable source of pride not only for the students but also for their advisor, their families, their school, and their community. The maturity and experience the members have gained through the participation in the National History Club will aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Mineral Ridge High School History Club for outstanding achievement and salute the members and their adviser as some of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Mineral Ridge High School History Club.
