A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Baldwin Wallace University cyber defense team on winning the 2014 Ohio Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Baldwin Wallace University cyber defense team as the 2014 Ohio Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Champion; and

       WHEREAS,  An intelligent and motivated group of individuals, the members of the Baldwin Wallace University cyber defense team are worthy of recognition. Under the capable leadership of their faculty advisor, Kenneth Atchinson, the members strove to develop their knowledge and skills, and consequently, they secured first place at this year's Ohio Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition and qualified for the regional tournament, where they placed third; and 

       WHEREAS,  Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, the students of the Baldwin Wallace University cyber defense team have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud. Their accomplishments are an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their school, their faculty advisor, Kenneth Atchinson, and the community; and

       WHEREAS,  Members Anthony McKnight, John Pietrasz, Jeremy Schoeneman, Devin Shimola, Collin Simpson, Erin McDermott, Patrick Hamilton, Aric Gady, and Alex Hervey have displayed a sincere desire to fully develop their talents so that they might fulfill their goals in the future, and this, combined with their maturity and initiative, shows their potential to become some of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Baldwin Wallace University cyber defense team on its success and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Baldwin Wallace University cyber defense team.
