A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Mason High School boys soccer team as the 2013 Division I State Champion.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Mason High School boys soccer team on winning the 2013 Division I State Championship; and

       WHEREAS,  A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Mason High School boys soccer team have combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as a truly exceptional squad. With admirable dedication, members Spencer Parrish, Sam Conkright, Charles Bramwell, Joshua Grant, Caleb Griffith, Conner Couchot, Harrison Taylor, Brady Daulton, Carver Nabb, Zachary Lust, Eric Liddell, Jude Iroh, Thomas Suter, Jordan El-Naggar, Gary Zhao, Marcin Zubrowski, Cameron Henderson, Ethan Roser, Jack Clark, Bryce Curran, Angel Tramontin, Adam Ward, Andrew Grisham, Maxwell Mitchell, Jacob Petry, Patrick Butler, Garrett Wood, Logan Beach, Daniel Loehr, Jackson Brown, Evan Couchot, Wil Shepherd, Joseph Grimes, Anthony Vergara, Thomas Diehl, Zachary Greenfield, William Rook, Kyle Bramwell, Samuel Hodge, Stephen Springsteen, Logan Taylor, Andrew Grisham, Daniel Mackzum, Nicholas Marino, Noah Tong, Ryan Spiker, Jared Gworek, Dylan Dagenback, Ashwin Rajgopal, Erek Watson, Andrew Kemme, Joshua Huber, Chad Wonder, Jason Cline, Connor Hawkins, Jessie Brumley, Christopher Kallach, Esteban Trujillo, Ian Markley, Thomas Zubrowski, and Jacob Curran have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in soccer, and as a result, the Comets defeated a tough Mentor team by a score of 1-0 to win this year's Division I State Championship, finishing the season with an undefeated 22-0-1 record; and 

       WHEREAS,  The Comets' achievements and leadership are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on them, their families, their school, their community, and their coaches. The success of any athletic endeavor depends largely on the ability of the coaches to provide both guidance and inspiration, and in leading their team to victory, Coach Paul Reedy and his assistants, Adam Jones, Seth Petry, Niro Wimalasena, Paul Schaffer, and Nak Huor, have not only helped each athlete to develop his talents to the fullest but also instilled in each a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie; and

       WHEREAS,  With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to these fine athletes and their outstanding coaches. The maturity and experience the team members have gained through participation in sports will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Mason High School boys soccer team on its tremendous 2013 season and salute the players and coaches as some of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Mason High School boys soccer team.
