A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Logan Elm Local School District robotics team as the 2013 Innovation Award recipient.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Logan Elm Local School District robotics team on winning first place for innovation at the 2013 FIRST Lego League North American Competition; and

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Logan Elm Local School District robotics team are remarkable young individuals, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students. With admirable dedication, the LE BOTS designed, engineered, and operated a robot to complete an assigned task based on the theme of "Senior Solutions," for which the members, including Cameron Aume, Kenton Dresbach, James Dale, Hugh Carstensen, Garett Lewis, Isac Gibson, and Avery Clouse, created a cookie mix box that featured large print and audible instructions for baking to help visually impaired consumers, and as a result, they won the Innovation Award at this year's FIRST Lego League North American Competition; and 

       WHEREAS,  Through practice and preparation, the members of the Logan Elm Local School District robotics team have displayed determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and the squad's efforts are truly admirable. Indeed, they have shown outstanding enthusiasm and expertise in all of their endeavors; and

       WHEREAS,  The accomplishments of the Logan Elm Local School District robotics team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the members but also on their families, their coaches, Chris Dale, Willie Brown, Larry Carstensen, and Victor Aume, their school, and their community. The squad is certainly worthy of recognition; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Logan Elm Local School District robotics team on its success and salute its members and advisors as fine Ohioans; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Logan Elm Local School District robotics team.
