A RESOLUTION

Honoring Jennifer Ha as the 2013 MAC Individual Champion in women's golf.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Jennifer Ha on winning the 2013 Mid-American Conference Championship in women's golf; and

       WHEREAS,  A member of the Kent State University women's golf team, Jennifer Ha has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in golf, and as a result, she won this year's MAC Championship title with a score of 76-72-74; and 

       WHEREAS,  Jennifer Ha's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her coach, Rob Wakeling, her school, and her community. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has earned her the respect and admiration of many, and she is certainly worthy of high praise; and

       WHEREAS,  With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to Jennifer Ha on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same maturity and experience she has gained through her participation in golf will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Jennifer Ha for outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jennifer Ha.
