BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. This section applies on or after July 1, 2009, | 7 |
and before July 1, 2011. | 8 |
A county prosecuting attorney or county treasurer may | 9 |
determine that the amount of money appropriated to the respective | 10 |
office from the county Delinquent Tax and Assessment Collection | 11 |
Fund under division (A) of section 321.261 of the Revised Code | 12 |
exceeds the amount required to be used by that office as | 13 |
prescribed by division (A)(1) of that section. If a county | 14 |
prosecuting attorney or county treasurer makes such a | 15 |
determination, the prosecuting attorney or treasurer may expend up | 16 |
to fifty per cent of the excess so determined to pay the expenses | 17 |
of operating the respective office that otherwise would be payable | 18 |
from appropriations from the county general fund, notwithstanding | 19 |
section 321.261 of the Revised Code. | 20 |
This section expires July 1, 2011. | 21 |
